Krebs metabolites in Autism |

These are the metabolites produced by every cell in the body except possibly the red cells of the blood An interesting factor is that there are few
publications but the biochemical laboratories in various countries are
willing to measure them for the parents of autistic children and in some way
give interpretation.
Currently it must be made clear that not only are the changes that are seen generally within the normal range but that the ‘slightly high’ or ‘slightly low’ findings as shown by laboratory work are commonly of no value. Few give creatinine ratios for the levels of compounds that they found and so it becomes exceptionally difficult to interpret findings. |
